{"id":240,"date":"2017-10-05T18:06:10","date_gmt":"2017-10-05T17:06:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pro.timphaus.de\/?p=240"},"modified":"2019-03-01T18:14:59","modified_gmt":"2019-03-01T17:14:59","slug":"data-integration-overview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dynamiacs.com\/?p=240","title":{"rendered":"Data integration overview"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Microsoft\ndelivers an out-of-the-box integration in Dynamics 365 for the Prospect 2 Cash\nScenario between Dynamics 365 for Sales (CRM) and Dynamics 365 for Finance and\nOperations, enterprise Edition (ERP) supported through the Common Data Service\n(CDS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are\nstandard templates available for<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Customer \/ Accounts<\/li><li>Products<\/li><li>Sales Quotes<\/li><li>Sales Orders<\/li><li>Sales Invoices<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"662\" height=\"768\" src=\"http:\/\/pro.timphaus.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/cdsoverview_10.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-253\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dynamiacs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/cdsoverview_10.png 662w, https:\/\/dynamiacs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/cdsoverview_10-259x300.png 259w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 662px) 100vw, 662px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In this\nscenario the Data Entitys Customer\/Accounts, Contacts and Sales Quotes will be\nprocessed in the CRM application and synced to the CDS and to the ERP\napplication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Data\nEntitys Products, Sales Orders and Sales Invoiced will be processed in the ERP\napplication and synced to the Common Data Service and to the CRM application. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Set Up:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\ninitial setup you have to do is on admin.businessplatform.microsoft.com. Here\nyou can create or admin the Environments or you can create Data polices. The initial mapping is\nloaded from templates designed by the CDS Team from Microsoft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this\nmapping there is the possibility to use different map types.
